Helen is excited to be going back to Chipping Norton this Christmas, to take up the title role in 'Sleeping Beauty', their forthcoming Pantomime. She thoroughly enjoyed her time there last year playing Rapunzel; performing twelve shows a week. This traditional annual show has been running for 34 years and boasts a large and loyal following including Douglas Hurd, David Cameron and Jeremy Clarkson.

Earlier this year Helen filmed 'Julia's Banjo', a feature which tells the story of a quest to find the first musical instrument John Lennon learned to play, which has been missing for over 45 years. Watch this space for more information.

Helen Hurd trained at the Mountview Academy, gaining an MA in Performance, having previously achieved a BA (Hons) in Drama and Theatre Arts at the University of Birmingham. Whilst at Mountview her roles included Amy in Sondheim's 'Company', Susan Gardiner in 'Is There Life After High School?', Blanche in 'A Streetcar Named Desire', and Juliet in 'Romeo and Juliet' (directed by Joyce Branagh).
