She has appeared as Princess Aurora in Chipping Norton's famous pantomime, Sleeping Beauty; performing twelve shows a week. This was the second time she has played the Princess in Chippy's traditional annual show, which has been running for 35 years and boasts a large and loyal following including David Cameron, Jeremy Clarkson and Douglas Hurd (no relation!). The Stage Review

As well as being a professional actor, Helen regularly performs with a band at top London music venues. The retro 60's indie-pop, is a stark contrast to her Musical Theatre vocal persona and illustrates clear versatility in genre and performance style.

Helen Hurd trained at the Mountview Academy, gaining an MA in Performance, having previously achieved a BA (Hons) in Drama and Theatre Arts at the University of Birmingham. She is currently based in London.
